Capacity of Bi’ah Islamiyah in Building Students’ Spiritual Resilience in the Era of Digital Disruption

Abstract





The era of digital disruption has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the field of education. The rapid advancement of technology not only offers convenience but also poses challenges to the moral and spiritual values of students. In this context, bi’ah Islamiyah an educational environment based on Islamic values plays a vital role in building students’ spiritual resilience. This study aims to analyze the role of bi’ah Islamiyah in strengthening the spiritual dimension of students so that they are able to face the pressures and temptations of the digital era with strong character and integrity. The research employs a qualitative approach through literature review and field observation in Islamic educational institutions. The findings indicate that the implementation of bi’ah Islamiyah through the habituation of worship, moral development, and teachers’ exemplary conduct significantly enhances students’ spiritual awareness. A religious environment fosters a sense of responsibility, discipline, and reflective ability in utilizing technology wisely. Therefore, bi’ah Islamiyah functions not only as a means of forming religious behavior but also as a value resilience system that protects students from spiritual and moral crises amid digital globalization. In conclusion, strengthening bi’ah Islamiyah serves as a key strategy in developing students’ spiritual resilience, enabling them to uphold Islamic values while navigating the challenges of the modern world.
