The International Journal of Islamic Studies and Culture (IJISC) is a premier, double-blind peer-reviewed electronic journal (e-ISSN 3124-338X) dedicated to the advancement of scholarly discourse in the fields of Islamic studies and cultural dynamics. Published twice a year in January and July by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) STIT Muhammadiyah Kediri, IJISC serves as an international platform for researchers and academics to share innovative research and theoretical frameworks.

Focus and Scope

IJISC embraces a multidisciplinary approach, exploring Islamic heritage alongside its contemporary manifestations. The scope includes Islamic Thought & Philosophy, Sharia & Law, Quranic & Hadith Studies, Islamic Education, Economics, History, and the intersection of Islam with Contemporary Culture and Media.

This journal provides immediate Open Access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are subject to a strict Double-Blind Peer Review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts to ensure the highest academic quality and integrity.

Archiving System

To ensure the long-term preservation of digital scholarly content, IJISC participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archival systems. These systems allow libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
